The team made the stay feel welcoming from the start. Everyone was friendly and ready to help, and the building felt secure, tidy, and well looked after. My room was modern, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out with the amenities I needed. ViVi Avenue ThongLor is right in the heart of ThongLor, close to cafés, restaurants, and nightlife, but it was still quiet enough to relax. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it in Bangkok.
We booked the two and three bedroom rooms for a family stay, and they were spacious, with a nice kitchen and good living areas. The hotel has a pleasant, quiet feel, the rooms were clean, and the location was convenient near BTS. Marche thonglor convenience store is a five minute walk away, along with a delicious sticky rice shop that was handy for groceries or last minute souvenirs. There are plenty of restaurants around and it’s close to Thong Lo. The cleaning was good, and Cha, Jinny, Kim, and May were always smiling and very friendly. The counter is staffed 24 hours, which was lovely. Thank you for such a good stay, we’ll come back to celebrate again.
I had the worst hotel stay of my life at Vivi Avenue Thong Lor, without exaggerating. Anyone looking for basic respect, cleanliness, quiet, or comfort should avoid this place.
We were a family of four and came away deeply disappointed. The building felt old and poorly maintained: on day one we found two broken bulbs, a broken showerhead, and a sofa that sank right in. Getting there was also difficult, down a narrow alley with construction nearby. When we pointed out stains on the sheets, the older male manager rudely said we had caused them with hair dye, which wasn't true. He blamed us instead of fixing the problem, and it seemed like he was trying to charge us extra. After five nights, a kind staff member agreed to hold our bags for a few days, and we offered to pay. The next morning the manager came back and aggressively demanded 500 THB. His conduct was unacceptable. This was especially upsetting because it was our parents' first trip to Thailand. We regret staying here. At the same price, there are much better choices in Bangkok for service and facilities. Think twice before booking.
