The staff were nice and helpful, and we had a private double room with a TV and AC. There was no locker, but we didn’t need one in a private room. Most of the other backpackers were nice, although some were inconsiderate about noise. Breakfast was coffee, creamer, hot water, strawberry and pineapple jam, bread with a toaster, and little pineapple jam biscuits. The common area had a fridge and a small kitchen, plus a washing machine and dryer for extra cost. The shower room, wash-up sink, toilet, and dirty water outlet were all together, and not having a separate sink was the one thing I disliked about the hostel. Wear flip-flops in the shower. There was hot water, and the area was good.

The big dorm on the top floor had good, firm beds and lockers, though there are lots of stairs to get up there. The staff were lovely. Bathrooms are tight and could use some light maintenance, but there’s a hot shower. There’s coffee, plus a messy kitchen with lots of options and a cramped living room with a console. Great location, of course.

It’s very cheap, and I haven’t found anywhere cheaper, though there may be places. The room has 16 beds, with a bathroom and a separate shower room. The temperature was fine, but the soap dispenser was empty and there was no toilet paper, so bring your own. They didn’t provide drinking water.

The staff were helpful, and the place is surrounded by convenient shops and a street food market. There’s a mosque nearby. The showers need an upgrade, and curtains on the bunks would give guests more privacy.

The place was decent until bed bugs bit me all over. There was never breakfast in the morning, even though they said they had bread and coffee. The wifi was good, though.
