The location is outstanding, right in the city and near major shopping centres and BTS stations. Breakfast was excellent for both quality and choice: mango sticky rice, pastries, fruit, desserts, drinks, and cooked dishes were all very good, although the dining area was crowded. We appreciated the honeymoon cake, and the team was friendly and tried to follow up on requests. The service was inconsistent in other ways. Check-in felt far from five-star: it was crowded, offered no privacy, and we were seated right next to other guests. Our luggage still hadn't arrived after 35 minutes, so we called and waited another 15 minutes. It never came. The room had several maintenance problems. The bathroom blinds were clearly broken and weren't fixed during turndown. Only after we told our PA did an engineer come the next morning. Some room elements looked glued on and were coming loose, and the toilet remote holder was damaged. Snacks were left on the first night but not the second, and slippers were placed on only one side of the bed despite there being two of us. On the positive side, our personal bathroom items were neatly set out on a white towel. For this price and five-star positioning, the upkeep and inconsistent service fell short. Compared with other luxury hotels we've recently stayed at in Bangkok, we probably wouldn't choose this hotel again.

The room was a letdown for the price, over USD400. From our room, we could see 100% wall, especially from the back side angle. We couldn't move to another room because the hotel said it was full. The interior design does reflect the high price, though, and the breakfast at Waldorf is one of the best in town, even by 5 stars hotel standards. The cook put a lot of effort into arranging the meals.

The concierge and front office team really stood out. They smoothly handled my pre-arrival requests, booking popular restaurants and spa treatments and getting my itinerary in order. When I unexpectedly needed to extend the stay, they were gracious and flexible, and put me at ease despite the last-minute change. The kindness and professional care felt rare, and I'm grateful to the whole team for their sincere hospitality. Waldorf Astoria Bangkok gave me peace of mind as well as a room. My stay was nothing short of perfect, and I can't wait to return to my favorite home in Bangkok.

This hotel ROCKS! The food was delicious, the rooms gorgeous, the service incredible, and the value HIGH. I highly recommend the Waldorf Bangkok. My only gripe is the view. I supposedly got a Hilton diamond “upgrade,” but the room wasn't bigger and the view wasn't good either. All I could see was a parking garage and power generators lol. I can see some guests getting really pissed about that. Besides the view, this hotel is AMAZING. Highly recommend!!!

Breakfast was top notch, with quality, variety, and presentation that set a new benchmark for us. It was easily among the best hotel breakfasts we've had. The location is convenient too, with CentralWorld a comfortable 10-minute walk away, while the stay still felt peaceful and refined. Our room was immediately impressive for its sense of luxury and space. It was beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly spacious, a joy to relax in. They also arranged a thoughtful birthday surprise in the room. The lovely setup and attention to detail made the celebration feel personal and memorable, and we really appreciated it. This was easily one of our best hotel stays, with luxury, comfort, and heartfelt service throughout. Highly recommended.
