For 600 baht a night, I expected a lot more. There wasn't even drinking water, and the blankets were so thin they did nothing to keep me warm. The pillows were latex cushions, which felt very odd. The room was noisy and had a musty smell, and lingering methamphetamine fumes kept me awake all night. Everyone seemed to be smoking heavily, and the female staff were extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. This place needs a lot of improvement. I remember it being very clean when the old owner ran it, with crystal-clear water. I wish I could have slept, but those fumes bothered me the whole night.

For 500 baht a night, you can manage a stay here, but the bathroom is so cramped that sitting on the toilet is difficult, especially if you're a big person. There's hot water, and the air conditioning is okay. You can sleep here, but after showering you'll have to drive back to Bangkok. Check-in takes less than 6 hours. I guess that price is probably about the same as in Phuket.
