The room was spotless, with a lovely view, and they provide a bike. It's not far from the center, and the cozy atmosphere and good amenities and service made it a pleasant stay. The wooden walls don't block much sound, though, so keep that in mind if noise bothers you.

I spent two nights here in a clean, very quiet place. My second-floor balcony looked out over an amazing view, and I had a great time. It's a good choice for a couple or someone travelling alone. You can borrow one of their very good bikes for free to explore nearby places.

I worked on my laptop here for over a week, facing the Mekong river, and found it a great place to unwind. There's a walkway beside the hotel for daily riverside walks or exercise, and the night market is only about three minutes away. WiFi caused me no problems. The traditional wooden house has modern amenities inside, and the owners are very pleasant and courteous. Coffee, mama noodles, toasted bread and more are available free without a limit. One clarification for other readers: every room has its own bathroom and shower. I don't know if they remodeled, or why some reviews mention a shared bathroom. I'll be back.

From the balcony you get a beautiful view of the Maekong river. The room is practical, well designed and has substantial amenities. What I liked most was being able to help myself to complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day, including water, tea, coffee, chocolate drinks, instant cup noodles, bread and different spreads. The guesthouse is in the upper part of Chiangkhan walking street, about a five-minute walk from all the local food, clothes and handicrafts.
