Come try staying in this wooden house beside a small, lovely lake. The Thai owners used to be professors at Chiang Mai University, and they’re very kind and hospitable. It’s a chance to experience a homestay.

We spent two nights in this cozy farmhouse and really enjoyed it. It’s in a small village right beside the Ping river, with two floors, three bedrooms for two people each, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. The owner keeps several farm animals, including two young Thai buffalos. They also lent us bicycles to ride to the nearby evening market. Highly recommended for families or groups.

The owners are so lovely and helpful, and the service was excellent. They even prepared all the ingredients we needed for cooking. It’s a beautiful place to stay close to nature, and I’m sure I’ll return whenever I visit Chiang Mai.
