Anoma Bed & Breakfast

Fantastic location and a good price, less than 25 USD a night. My room had a large bed with very comfortable pillows, air conditioning, a safe, and a mini fridge. The shower had hot water and there was a western toilet. The place was very clean, and staff were helpful. They left bottled water for me each day when they cleaned the room.

The rooms are spacious, the beds are pretty good and firm, and the bathroom layout works well. But the overall stay was disappointing for the price, and you can do much better. The location is a bit strange, down a dark alley and not as convenient for cafes as the northeast part of the old city. The sink wouldn’t drain, the internet didn’t work in the rooms and often not at all, doors slammed loudly, and smoke drifted into the rooms in the morning. Breakfast was minimal. The building has no character and gets hot in the afternoon because of its cinderblock orientation.

For the price, about 11 pounds a night, this was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice and quite spacious. Air conditioning, free in-room WiFi, daily bottled water, and breakfast are included. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the food market, with plenty of food, bars, and shops nearby.

The place is clean and cozy, just what you need. It’s really convenient, only minutes from the food night market, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is available from 7 to 11. They’ll also gladly handle laundry, with 24-hour return service for 40B per kg.
