At Ease Bijou Place

The rooms were clean, and having a private shower and bathroom separate from the beds, but still attached, worked well when traveling with several people. There were plenty of outlets for the three of us to charge our devices, and I enjoyed the private balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful despite a bit of a language barrier, which we could work around with Google Translate. The place is right off the main road and well located for nearby restaurants.

The staff were nice, and the place was clean, but the room facing the road was a mistake. The street noise at night was horrible. There wasn't a mattress, just a box spring to sleep on. Breakfast was a small buffet of some hot dogs, eggs, and coffee.

We were three girlfriends and were very happy with our five days here. It felt less like a regular hotel and more like being at our parents' place or visiting good friends. Our room had three separate comfortable beds, each with its own nightstand and two charging ports, which you don't often find in hotels. We also had two rooms, which was perfect for our evening tea chats, and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast each morning felt like a warm, homemade meal, full of care. The location was convenient for both the airport and the city center.

The vintage décor has a cool look, and the hotel is good value at the entrance to the old town. Breakfast was basic but quite good. I asked for a change to the usual breakfast, and the friendly staff were very accommodating. I did have a couple of issues: poor noise insulation and a hard bed, which aren't ideal if you're a light sleeper.
