The location was good, and we appreciated being allowed a late checkout, but the night itself was rough. The beds were hard, the air conditioning kept switching on and off, road noise came through, and the bathroom was dirty. The decor felt like it belonged in a preschool, which added to the generally odd impression. We arrived at 7 p.m. to a dark, empty lobby and thought the hotel had closed. Eventually a young woman rushed in, saying she was covering for a friend. She didn’t know our room details or even how much we owed, so check-in felt strange and uncomfortable.

We reserved a double room with a bathroom for three nights through Booking.com. At check-in, staff said the website details were wrong and claimed our booking was for a room without a bathroom. They put us in an eight-person dorm instead, then said a double room with a bathroom would cost 1,000 baht per night, which didn’t match what we had seen online. The way they handled the problem was unreasonable and left us with a very bad impression. Their response to this kind of issue needs to improve. We had booked a private room with a bathroom for three nights, but were again told on arrival that the website information was incorrect and that our room had no bathroom. We were given an eight-person dormitory instead.
