The rooms are comfortable and stylish, even if photos might make them look too bare. That’s a deliberate design choice, and the owner is an architect. We had two large beds that can easily be pushed together into one giant bed. There’s a cafe on the first floor. It looks a little messy, but has an artistic feel. The place is also not far from the city center.

We arrived from BKK by bus at 5am during Khom Loy festival, hoping to check in. Our booking was for that day, and there wasn’t an extra room we could pay for, but the older woman who greeted us, who I think was the owner, kindly let us sleep on the rooftop for a few hours. When the sun came up, she came with a key so we could check in early. We were so grateful. We ended up sleeping on the floor like babies, then woke in the afternoon to find her cleaning other rooms. I thanked her and she smiled. The family running the hotel seemed very kind, and the staff were friendly. They also helped us find a rental bike by calling the shop to check availability. The room was in good condition, and everything about our stay felt positive. Just be aware there’s a gentle, people-friendly dog at the hotel, in case you’re not comfortable around dogs or have an allergy. It’s close to the center and the price is really nice. The rooms are simple but clean, with what you need for a couple of days. The mattress was good, the AC worked well, and the shower did too.
