Baan Chaisri is a favorite of mine in Chiang Mai. I like the calm, local feel of the neighborhood, and you can walk to lots of attractions, especially temples. It’s a lovely option for a peaceful, more authentic stay in the old city.

We stayed for a few days and found the rooms clean and comfortable, with a heater and Wi-Fi. The host was friendly and easy to approach. There’s no TV, which was fine for us since we just wanted somewhere to rest after traveling. Highly recommend, five stars.

The owners were wonderful, and the place looked new and clean. We stayed six nights and loved the quiet location, with everything still walkable. Highly recommended.

This was the nicest place we've stayed in Thailand so far in this price range. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and suggested some great inexpensive restaurants, trips, and places to see in Chiang Mai. The hotel is on a quiet side street in the old city.

We liked it enough to add another night after booking two. The rooms are spacious, everything was very clean, and the location is good. The owners were kind and helpful 😊
