The common area is great for working, with filtered water, a microwave, and a coffee station. The hostel is also well placed near the jazz bar, markets, and good restaurants. Front desk staff were friendly and helped me look at tour options. The rooms are decent and cover the basics, but there are no privacy curtains, and my locker didn’t lock properly. I personally like that the bathrooms are outside the rooms, though they didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly, especially the showers.

For such an affordable price, this was a good hostel. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. It felt pretty laid back socially, and it never got loud. Bathrooms were just okay and had a bit of a school feel, but it’s a big hostel, so for the price it’s good.

The hostel is in a good location and is quite nice in general, but my stay was less comfortable because the rooms and washrooms weren’t cleaned properly. Some washrooms were out of use, and a few door locks were broken, which was inconvenient. The place has a good base and could be much better with regular cleaning, facility upkeep, and more attention to washroom maintenance. Better hygiene and maintenance are needed to meet guests’ expectations.

It’s budget friendly if you’re planning to visit in the off season. The hostel itself is nice and well located, but the rooms and washrooms weren’t cleaned properly. Some washrooms couldn’t be used, and there were broken door locks.

This was easily my favorite hostel so far. It was incredibly peaceful and felt safe, and the room was very clean. The owner and workers were lovely. It’s not a social hostel, which makes it a great quiet spot for introverts or anyone looking for peace. I hope they keep it up. I’d highly recommend it to solo female travelers.
