For a monthly rental, this is a very good option. Pi Poom is friendly and looks after the guests and the property well. The fan rooms are large and come with a bathroom and fridge, and there’s a long shared balcony looking out over the street.

The location is good, but I can’t recommend this place. My room and the bedding both smelled unpleasant, and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. The bathroom was in such poor condition that I chose not to shower. It was noisy too, with loud music from a small bar across the street. I found a clean, modern hotel room just around the corner for only 50 baht more, so this was poor value as well.

If you know Chiang Mai and just need somewhere to crash, this is okay. The location is great for the low price, the rooms were clean, and towels were provided. The staff are nice, though the other people staying there at the time were a bit weird. Definitely not a place to socialize.

For 200 thb, I got a clean single room with a private bathroom and balcony. It’s a great cheap guesthouse in the main tourist area, with quiet rooms and nice staff. Hard to find a better deal.

The rooms are among the cheapest in Chiang Man for a private room with a fan, and there are also rooms with AC and a fridge if you want a break from the heat. Chinda House is my favorite guesthouse. The family and staff who run it are so welcoming and kind to everyone who comes by. Khob khan krap, Chinda family!
