The rooms aren't modern, but ours was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is good value for exploring Chiang Mai. Staff were amazingly kind and friendly, and free snacks and water were available whenever we needed them. The AC was cold. A few things to know: beds are firm, though body pillows made ours more comfortable. The soundproofing isn't great, so bring earplugs. Let the shower run a bit before getting in if you want it warm, otherwise it may be lukewarm.

We loved the free snacks and unlimited drinks in the lobby, and were grateful that Asaya upgraded our room. It was spacious and lovely, with AC and a water heater. The hostel feels homey and minimalist, with lots of plants; as a plant lover, seeing ones I couldn't afford back home was a treat. Asaya House is right in the city center, close to temples, restaurants, convenience stores, massage salons, and more. The one thing I'd like them to improve is the sound coming through the walls. Better soundproofing, or a reminder about quiet hours, would help guests be considerate of one another. Still, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely return.

The owner was super accommodating, and the staff were friendly. They offered a late checkout to work with our travel plans, and we'll definitely be back. Asaya House is ideally placed for exploring the city, with the Sunday night market right at your doorstep.

The receptionists and owner were always friendly, and the rooms were very nice and clean. Guests can help themselves to snacks, water, and noodles. I'd definitely recommend it.

There's a self-serve table with free snacks, instant noodles, fresh bananas, coffee, tea, and bottled water all day. Breakfast isn't provided. We had a three-person room with three single beds, a separate shower and toilet, and a great price for the quality. The location is close to both the East and South Gates. You can use the gym next door for free; we heard some noise from it during the day, but it didn't bother us. The place was very clean and the staff super friendly. There isn't an elevator, and staff aren't there after 10pm, though you can call or text them. The roof has a nice view of the area. Two friends got food poisoning, and the staff let us stay until 3pm for our flight. I can't thank them enough.
