A nice, quiet spot right in town, with tidy rooms and the basics covered. There's a pleasant little sitting area, plus a small pantry and free coffee and tea around the clock. The owner seems to have thought through the small details. A 7/11 is about 100 metres away, with restaurants, coffee shops and a night market nearby too. Nothing fancy, just a convenient and cozy place. I'd happily return.

It's in a very quiet neighborhood, but still quite close to a larger night market. The AC worked, which was a plus, though the room otherwise felt pretty worn. There were bugs and mosquitoes around, and quite a few dead insects were still stuck on the walls. It didn't seem like the rooms were cleaned very often. During the stay there was no room service, so the bins weren't emptied and toilet paper wasn't replenished.

I really liked having my own quiet little retreat in Chiang Mai. The staff gave me plenty of privacy, so it felt like a small sanctuary. Dream Garden Villa was clean and comfortable, and looked just like the pictures. If peace and independence matter to you, this is a great fit. I'd stay again.

I was here in August 2024 and wouldn't recommend the place. The construction seems poor, the materials feel cheap, and I had mosquitoes and ants in my room. There were lots of cobwebs in the bathroom. At least the hot water worked, though I had to turn the instant heater all the way up and then lower it to the temperature I wanted. The private room door only has a keyed pushbutton lock, which felt like a serious security problem. It looked easy to break in with just a knife or even a credit card. See 📸.
