We couldn't imagine a better place to stay with our kids. The staff were great, and there were lots of activities, including a Thai boxing lesson, a cooking class, and plenty of tours. We hope to come back one day.

The staff are friendly and hospitable, and the food is really good. If you stay here, have dinner too. But it's overpriced and outdated, and could use a proper renovation. There were lots of mosquitos and little ants. It's far outside Chiang Mai, and a loud hen from a neighbor woke me at 5 am.

The food was great, with a plentiful breakfast and a kitchen available all day. The staff were always around to help, and even took our kid for a walk to the 7-eleven with their own children. I recommend Satin's Thai boxing session. This guest house is a lovely, quiet haven, and the neighborhood is nice to explore on foot or by bike. It's outside the city center, which made arranging trips with local tours a little difficult, but we appreciated the peaceful spot away from the noise. The staff are the friendliest, and many thanks to them!

Joy’s House feels less like a luxury resort and more like being cared for by a family. We felt at home as soon as we arrived, and the staff welcomed us with a delicious dinner they'd prepared. The breakfast buffet doesn't have hundreds of choices, but the care here is what makes the place special. It's a quiet oasis away from the busy city, and while it may not seem central at first, taxis are very affordable and Joy’s House runs a convenient shuttle to the center twice a day. Champi's cooking class is a must if you get the chance. It begins at the market, picking up fresh ingredients, then you get to make authentic, delicious Thai dishes in an interactive lesson. The staff can also help arrange other activities, with fair prices and a focus on sustainable tourism, which can be hard to find in Thailand. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off make getting around easier too. Staying at Joy’s House will elevate a Chiang Mai trip.

I'm staying here now and really like it. There's plenty to do, from cycling and board games to other activities. You can get good food most of the time, and it's close to the town center. The pool is nice and the staff are friendly. If I return to Chiang Mai, I'd stay here again.
