L Nimman Boutique Hotel

I wanted a bit of exercise, so I walked to the airport. It took about an hour, but there were sidewalks the whole way. The hotel is convenient for the airport, and there are restaurants all around, with probably some nightlife too. I was out, though, and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow, so I didn't hear any noise. My reservation got mixed up, either by me or the booking site. I'd booked three rooms instead of one, who knows. The staff were extremely patient while helping me sort it out. Thanks to them for being so accommodating. I'd stay again, and see you soon!

The room was nice, the price was fair, and breakfast was decent. I've stayed twice, though, and noticed small ants both times. That concerns me a bit.

The room's air quality made it hard to feel comfortable. There was a persistent dusty smell from the air conditioner, and it seemed like fine dust kept circulating even with the window open. The first room I checked into was especially stuffy, extremely dusty, and had a stale smell. I told the staff, and they responded quickly and tried to fix it, which I appreciated. L Nimman Chiangmai Boutique is reasonably priced for what you get. The rooms are in good condition, not outdated, and generally well maintained. Staff are warm, friendly, and ready to help. Still, the stuffiness and dust odor affected my stay. Better cleaning and AC maintenance could make this a much stronger choice.

Sleep was pretty limited, from about 12:30 AM to 6:30 AM, when the planes apparently stop landing. The walls are paper thin, the AC is lousy, and the rooms get really stuffy. They sterilize with ozone, or so it seems. There's also a green flashing fire safety light that's super bright. It felt like trying to sleep through a looping airplane scene. Maybe this area just isn't one to stay in.
