It’s a very tranquil, enjoyable place to stay, on a quiet street just outside town. Rooms are fairly large, well kept, and have big comfortable beds. There’s parking for motorbikes and a few cars. With a rented scooter, it’s easy to get to the busier parts of Chaing Mai. A couple of people I met actually live there and said they love it. My room had a fridge, kettle, one cup, a small table and chair, but no wardrobe. WiFi was excellent and reliable, including 5G, and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel appears to have offered breakfast before, but flooding had damaged the restaurant, so there were no meals during my stay. There’s an excellent European style café about two streets away. I bought a cereal bowl, plate, cutlery, and coffee mug cheaply at local shops so I could eat in, though I usually went to the café. The receptionist appeared briefly around 14:00 each day and was otherwise hard to find. Phone numbers were posted at reception for important questions. We booked through agoda two months ahead and had a confirmation, but they cancelled a week before our trip because they were overbooked, or maybe because they found someone willing to pay more. It might be a nice place to stay, but we never got to find out.

It felt safe and peaceful, and the location worked well for walking to the night market and local restaurants. Our room had a cute individual theme and was very clean. The furniture all looked new when we stayed in January 2023, and everything worked well. It’s also close to Chiang Mai old town. One odd thing: when we paid by card, staff who spoke very little English dictated our card details over the phone.

A peaceful place to rest, about a 10 minute walk from the old town. The facilities were fantastic, with new furniture, very clean rooms, and pretty pastel décor. Service was OK, though staff weren’t usually available and their English was poor. I’ll definitely come back.

We spent seven nights here, and Khun Ou, the lovely woman who runs the guesthouse, shared great local tips for exploring the Chiang Mai area. The place is neat, clean, very quiet, well maintained, and designed with a lot of life. Khun Ou has traveled the world and worked as a language teacher, so she speaks English flawlessly. She’s well educated and easy to talk to. The best choice in Chiang Mai!
