Getting transport from here was difficult since it’s a little way out of town. The room was clean and the service was okay, but hot water was only available for a limited time. I was charged 100 baht for checking out at 12:30, just half an hour late. Nobody told me there would be a late checkout fee, and they simply took it from our deposit without giving us a say.

The rooftop terrace is a lovely spot to unwind and look toward the mountains. The hotel itself is quiet and clean, with roomy, well-equipped rooms. It’s around 20 minutes from the Old City, and Grab is useful for getting around Chiang Mai.

It’s a little far from the city center, but that suited the peaceful, private feel of the place. The hotel is beautiful, with stylish touches throughout, and the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. A nice choice for a relaxing stay or a change of scenery.

I really liked how easy the staff made everything, even helping me sort out a scooter rental so exploring the area felt simple. There’s unlimited free coffee from a vending machine, and the breakfast was great when booked with the room. The people here are so kind and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. My room at Pause and Play Hotel was spotless, cozy, and easy to relax in. The simple design and soothing colors felt just right, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. It felt homey, and I’d happily stay here again 🤌🏻😊🤩😻
