The location was great, and there's breakfast next to the hostel. My room was very noisy because of the Chinese family opposite. The bed wasn't soft, so I wasn't comfortable sleeping. I stayed in a mixed women's dorm, and there were only two toilets on the second floor.

The place was clean and felt secure, and I enjoyed staying at Pinghostel mostly because its location was convenient. I could walk to most of the places I planned to visit. The customer service was great too, and I sincerely recommend it.

I slept peacefully here. The mattresses are hard, but that gives better support and is better for the waist and back. The shared showroom is bright and clean, though the shower head feels a bit fragile. The reception desk provides proper, correct, prompt service during the day.

I had a single room with a private bathroom and it was really perfect. The room was large, very clean, and the bed was pretty comfortable for me. Breakfast could be improved.

The dorm was spotless and quiet, and with only four or five people in the ten-bed room, it felt uncrowded. The daily rate was pricey at $8.5. The bathroom was one of the nicest I've seen in Chiang Mai, and breakfast was basic, just toast with jam and butter, tea, and coffee. I liked the minimalist common area decor and the cool furniture made from old train tracks. The hostel is right in the middle of the old town, about a 15-minute walk from major sights and walking streets. I'd definitely recommend it and would love to stay again if I get the chance.
