The room and hotel were clean, and the owner was friendly and spoke English and Hainan dialect. The location is close to the bus terminal, train station, Decathlon, and Chiang Mai Central Mall, the biggest mall in Chiang Mai. The room rate was reasonable too.

The guest house is clean and reasonably priced, and the owner seemed like a nice person. It took me 15 minutes to walk here from Chiangmai Station. It’s also near the bus terminal for trips to Chiangrai, Sukothai, and Bangkok. A good location for a guest house.

It’s neat and tidy, and does the basics if all you need is an air-conditioned bedroom, hot shower, and WiFi. The towels could probably use replacing.

When I’m only in Chiang Mai for a short time, this is where I stay. The rooms are affordable, the beds are comfortable, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the Chiang Mai Arcade bus terminal. It’s also near Central Festival mall and Star Ave, so it’s a handy base before travelling on. Sometimes you have to climb 3-4 flights of stairs, and the hotel is some distance from the Old City and night markets. Those are my only downsides.
