Prime Square Hotel

Our tour operator, Scents of Siam Travel and Tours, arranged 4 nights here. We were in Room 207, right above the lobby and near the stairs and elevator. It was spacious enough for two people with two pieces of luggage each. There weren't many power outlets, so luckily we'd brought extension cords. The WiFi was stable once connected, but needed a fresh login whenever it disconnected. The breakfast buffet was limited, but everything was good, and I loved the curry soups. We also loved the coffee, tea, and chocolate dispenser, especially the double chocolate and thai tea. The pool seemed a bit small, though we didn't go for a swim. Maya Mall, 7Eleven, massage shops, and Shabugu are all within walking distance.

It's a modern boutique hotel with an easy-to-reach location. The room isn't large, but it was comfortable for us as a couple. There's a pool and fitness service. Breakfast is simple, but suits the room price of around 1500 baht (4x usd).

The Wi-Fi basically doesn't work in the room, which is the one downside. Otherwise, I had a great stay. The room was quiet and well soundproofed, the shower room was nice, and the bed was very soft and comfortable. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices. Staff were friendly throughout, and when I couldn't get a taxi to the airport, one of them helped call one for me. Breakfast had a pretty good selection. The location is convenient, about a 2-minute walk from the CAD shuttle stop and very close to Maya Shopping Mall. The 7-Eleven is a bit farther off, but motorbikes can be rented 5 minutes down the alley behind the hotel. That shop had better bikes and service than the other nearby places.

It's a small hotel with limited facilities, though most things are good quality. The modern, bright room was comfortable and very quiet, with pretty good soundproofing. The showers were the letdown: water pressure was low and the hot water supply kept varying.
