It's a quiet little hotel with friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, and very good value. The old town centre is about a 10 minute walk away, though in the heat you might prefer a taxi. I'd recommend it for Chiang Mai, just keep in mind it's not super central.

Walking back here each night felt like coming home to a luxury hotel in Europe. The rooms were luxurious, the staff always friendly, and the included breakfast was absolutely phenomenal!!!!

The Old Town sights were close by, yet our room and the area around it stayed peaceful and quiet. Our room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. We absolutely loved staying at Rimwiang and recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

Benz at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for me. The hotel sits on a quiet street, but I could walk to all the good stuff. My room was spotless and quiet, with a luxurious bed and a beautiful claw foot tub for soaking. I can't wait to come back.

The lobby had a noticeable damp smell, though the staff were all friendly and polite. We liked the breakfast and the little snacks in the lobby, and our room was clean and bright with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is tucked down a small alley, which keeps things peaceful and quiet. It's around a 5 to 10 minute walk to the main street, and the alley can get quite dark at night.
