The only thing I didn't like was that the bathrooms are one floor below the bedrooms. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay with a great vibe. The garden in front is lovely for breakfast in the sun, and the staff are kind and helpful. It's quiet and calm, with several spots that work well for remote work.

I've stayed at Sherloft several times, and it's easily the best hostel in Chiang Mai. Great rooms, location, and price, and the staff are wonderful, especially T! The owner is amazing and was really helpful to me. I can't say enough good things about Sherloft Home and Hostel. Give them a try if you're in Chiang Mai.

Such a cute, very boho hostel. I stayed in an eight-bed room, which was a bit cramped, but at £7 a night I can't really complain. Breakfast is free every morning, with waffles, toast, eggs, cereal, and that sort of thing. Nothing fancy, but it's free food. The staff are lovely and laundry is cheap.

A peaceful, calm hostel, and the garden was so relaxing. I stayed in a four-bed dorm, which worked well enough for me as a solo traveler. The staff are very accommodating.

Stay here, that's all I can say. I've already come back three separate times. The staff are the nicest, the breakfast is lovely, and they clean daily. The area is quiet and peaceful, with lots of seating inside and out. It's easy to get around from here and very close to the Sunday walking street. The security is amazing.
