The Astra Suites

The building is beautiful and in a lovely area. We stayed here and had dinner at the nearby market most nights. The food was delicious and felt safe to eat, and it was really nice having the market so close.

These are decent apartments, though not necessarily the cheapest. They’re set up for self-catering, with a stovetop, microwave, cooking utensils, and the other basics, and seem mostly aimed at longer stays. There are two pools and two gyms, plus the view depends on which side of the building you’re on. On foot, Anusarn night market and Kalare night bazaar are close, and the old city isn’t too far. Most other places around the city are only a short ride away.

We rented three rooms on different floors. The other two had frosted bathroom glass, so they offered more privacy. In our room, there was no shower curtain and you could see straight into the bathroom from the bedroom, which made that part feel unfinished. The basics were there, including a fridge, stove, small table, and small sofa, so cooking and dining were covered. Aside from that privacy issue, everything was good.

The place was terrible and dirty, and the owner was very rude. Even after seeing those pictures, videos, and more, he refused to refund me. Both his appointments were like you see in the contact I have shared. Apartment B708 and 12B05
