The Little Siri

The two ladies who look after the apartment are gems. Dave also gives a nice discount at his restaurant, real good pasta, which I'd recommend visiting. It's a great spot if you're planning to train at dang Muay Thai nearby, and I'd suggest renting a scooter from them too, the rates are good. I was lucky to run into Dave while leaving the hotel lazily. I asked if he had a room, and that was the start of a great stay.

We liked the comfortable bed, quiet fridge, full bath and screens on the door and windows, which meant we could leave them open at night. Staff were easy to reach on WhatsApp, and I wish we'd mentioned the pump sooner, though I don't think that could have fixed it. Our room also had a huge water holder with a loud pump. We didn't know about it, or we wouldn't have chosen that room. Looking at the photos of the other rooms, ours was clearly the smallest and probably the noisiest. The pump kept us from sleeping on two of our three nights. It's otherwise a great place to stay in Nimman, but be aware of this particular room.

The owner and caretaker were great, and communication was really good. The place was nicely looked after in a great, quiet area. There's no pool.

U was unforgettable. She looked indifferent at first, but she's actually an adorable girl. I'd see her waiting in the lobby each night when I returned, and that made the guesthouse feel like home. Next time I'm in Chiang Mai, I'll definitely come back to The Little Siri. It was my first trip to Chiang Mai, and I stayed here for seven days. The guesthouse was very clean, tucked into a quiet alley, yet close to all the everyday conveniences. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, always checking whether I needed anything replenished.
