The Rise Suites

Our seventh-floor room was spacious, clean, comfortable and fresh-smelling, and the whole floor had a pleasant scent. Breakfast had a nice range of Thai and Western food, all fresh and tasty. We also used the breakfast and welcome drink vouchers at the hotel café, where the Americanos were excellent. My wife and I stayed at The Rise Suites Chiang Mai on the 27th for our wedding anniversary. I’d let the hotel know through Agoda beforehand without expecting anything, so the decorated room was a lovely surprise: heart-shaped towel art, balloons, an anniversary card and cookies. The welcome was warm too, with genuine smiles and help with our luggage, and check-in was quick and easy. It felt like the hotel really cared about its guests. The stay was memorable, and we’d come back and recommend it to Thai and international friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sugar and Eggs cafe was a treat, with tasty food and the smell of fresh goods they bake each day. The staff there and at reception were consistently helpful and went out of their way to make things better. My room had balloons, complimentary cookies and a birthday card waiting when I arrived, and whenever I needed something or had an issue, they handled it right away. The hotel sits just off the highway and a bit out from the city, so without a car you’ll need a Grab or taxi to get around. There’s a laundromat and 7/11 about a four-minute walk away. For food nearby, I’d also recommend “chubby food thai authentic homemade,” about an 8min drive. Their Thai food was the best, especially the beef Krapaow and Tom yum soup. I’d stay here again.

We planned on six nights and stayed through New Year's Eve. The suite was very good, with a comfy mattress and all the essentials, and the welcome cookies were really good. They also put out complimentary snacks during the day. The hotel is tucked along a quiet street, so it feels peaceful and silent. Everyone on staff was warm, welcoming and smiling throughout the day. A wonderful Chiang Mai stay, highly recommend.

The front desk staff were incredibly nice and helped with everything we needed. The room itself was nice and the location was good, but the breakfast wasn’t very good. Some dishes were cold and not very warm. Sound carried into the room, too. I could hear the cleaners in the morning and sometimes staff talking loudly in the corridors, which woke me up and made it hard to sleep.
