The bed was really comfortable, and everything you need is close by. Security was good, and as a solo traveler I felt very safe.

There was no running water, which caused serious inconvenience for all the guests. I couldn't reach the hotel, and it took no responsibility for the problem. The owner seemed unconcerned and ignored the situation. This accommodation was completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional, falling short of basic standards. I strongly don't recommend staying here.

This is one of Chiang Mai's more affordable places in a good location. We enjoyed our stay overall, and the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, though the pillows weren't comfortable. The shower had little pressure and leaked everywhere. We ran out of toilet roll and soap, and neither was replaced, so we had to buy more. Staff leave at 5pm. On our last day, we left our bags there and returned at 1pm as we'd said, but the woman wasn't there to let us in, so we had to wait. The staff were very blunt, and sometimes their absence made things difficult.

There were two things to know about this hotel. First, reception is empty from 5 pm until the next morning. I arrived at 9 pm and called the number posted at the gate. They'd left a key in a box, so I checked myself in. After evening, it felt like I had the whole hotel to myself. The main gate is locked, so outsiders can't get in. Second, room service isn't readily available. From afternoon onward, you may not see anyone at all. During my five-day stay, I saw the receptionist only four times. I don't make much mess, so I didn't need daily cleaning. The same sweet old lady at reception made up the room on the third day, and I didn't see anyone else working, so it seemed like one person handled everything. If you're traveling solo or with a friend and want a quiet place with very little interruption, this could suit you. If you're with family, on a honeymoon, or have special needs, I'd suggest choosing somewhere else with 24/7 service.
