Yaang Come Village

We loved the pool, which was large, clean, and a great place to cool off after exploring. The staff were always around, attentive, and ready to help. Yaang Come Village Hotel is also in a really convenient spot, with sightseeing, bazaars, and a supermarket all within easy walking distance. We stayed four nights as a family, and the rooms were a highlight: roomy, spotless, and full of cultural details in the art, paintings, and furniture. It felt a bit like staying in an authentic gallery. I’d highly recommend it for a memorable stay with a strong sense of local culture.

The location made getting around easy. The Old Town, Ping River, Chinatown food market near the Night Bazaar, and the Night Bazaar itself are all within walking distance. The hotel is central but quiet once you’re in the garden or your room. We spent three nights in room 514 and had a great stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. Our room was spacious and clean, with a good layout and a genuinely comfortable bed. Housekeeping kept it in good shape. The garden is lush and well cared for, with the pool right among the greenery, and the atmosphere is calm. It felt like a good four-star hotel. A couple of things to know: the bar stops serving around 4 pm, and breakfast is fine but not especially memorable. If you like good coffee and local breakfast spots, you might prefer to walk into town. There’s a large car park by the main road, with a small coffee bar on the left that’s handy while waiting for a Grab, and a coffee and bagel bar on the right. The bagel place has a nice setup and is worth a stop if you’re into coffee. I’d stay again and recommend it.

The night market and downtown Chiang Mai are just a block away, though the hotel itself is quiet. We were very impressed during our four-night stay. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and we really liked the pool.

It’s a peaceful, tranquil place, and I really enjoyed staying at Yaang. My room was generous in size, though a bit run down and in need of a fresh coat of paint. The service was excellent and helpful. I was surprised they don’t open for dinner, but there are plenty of places to eat in Chiang Mai. Their resident cat is 20 years old, which is pretty impressive.
