There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and booking tours was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. The room was nice, though breakfast was very basic. The shower wasn’t great, with barely any pressure and hot water that lasted just a few minutes.

The staff are super friendly, and it’s a really nice, affordable hostel. Breakfast doesn’t have much variety, but since it’s included in the price, it’s a nice little extra.

We rented bicycles and rode out to temples and museums farther from the center, and the owner and the receptionist with the earring were always helpful with suggestions for places to visit and markets to eat at, even when we didn’t ask. Breakfast was a bit poor, maybe a little more fruit would make guests happier. The hostel looks older in person than in the photos, and with the garden around, bringing food into the room can mean getting invaded by ants. We still had a good stay. A young receptionist greeted us with a smile and showed us around. The room was a bit dark, with its own toilet and shower, but I preferred the shared bathrooms to avoid making a mess in the room, and they were always empty so felt more private.

We booked a private room. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, and the staff were nice. There were loads of ants around the hostel, especially near reception and the common area, and a crazy number of mosquitoes in our room. It’s not very social, though we were there in low season, so maybe high season is different. Just an okay hostel.

I rented a motorbike from them, and breakfast is free too. It feels like a family-run place, even if I’m not sure. They’re super sweet and go out of their way to help. Nothing to complain about.
