Our twin room was spacious and had a small balcony facing the front. The hotel is a large complex a little outside the centre, but Clock Tower is a 10-15 minutes walk away. The bathroom looked old and had a bathtub instead of a shower. The shower pressure was good, and the water temperature was just right, with hot water available. On the first night, we spotted little ants or termites on the small wooden table, then noticed they were all over the wooden furniture. Fortunately, there was nothing on the bed. We told the front office, and they sprayed something. When we got back, the ants were gone. We gave 4 stars for service because the staff didn’t seem to be around. The people at the front desk didn’t understand our questions well, and seemed a bit helpless when we asked for advice.

It felt like a little bit of France in the middle of Chiang Rai. We arrived in the off-season, so it was very quiet. The hotel was immaculately clean, with large rooms and a king-size bed. A huge American breakfast was included in the price. The staff were polite, cheerful and very well trained.

A good place to spend a few days in Chiang Rai. The only problem I had was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty. Otherwise, I’d recommend it.

The garden outside looked lovely, and the room was spacious and clean. We arrived around 9am after a morning flight from Bangkok, and they let us check in right away, even though we'd booked for two nights. The front desk staff were wonderful. Breakfast had the usual basics, which was fine with so few guests, and since we had an early checkout they let us eat before 7am, ahead of the normal 7-10am hours. Nothing to complain about, we had a really good stay.

At 1,100 THB a night through Trip.com, it was good value. The hotel looks beautiful from outside, the interior is decent, and the staff were polite. Breakfast was fine, nothing bad about it. Parking is a little limited, though, and the location is excellent.
