Breakfast was the standout for me. There weren't many dishes, but the quality and taste were excellent, perhaps especially for Thai guests, and I hadn't expected breakfast at that price. The room was roomy, the shower was great, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It's peaceful, with a glimpse of the Kok River. You'll need a vehicle to reach the nearest shop, and the alley entrance is quite narrow.

It's a peaceful spot with a nice area for a walk, and there's a good coffee shop down the road, 316 Coffee. The rooms were a good size and had cold A/C. Staff were good, though sometimes hard to find. Breakfast was free and decent for a free meal. The pool costs 50 baht per person per day, and I didn't use it much.

Close to downtown Chiang Rai, this clean place sits beside a stream and offers an appealing price with breakfast included. I especially liked the porridge, made with minced pork and mushrooms.

A small group of our friends stayed for a week. It was clean, comfortable and quiet, and our friends were very happy with the place.
