A Hotel Budget

The secure parking area was a plus, but the place feels quite old and there’s nowhere to get food nearby. It would do if there weren’t other options.

It was almost empty when I stayed at the end of April, and the town corner is quiet. The building feels modern, the rooms are large and clean, and the staff are nice. The AC is strong and the Wi-Fi worked. There’s a kettle in the room, plus unlimited coffee from the lobby machine, though breakfast isn’t provided. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to anything interesting. My room had a big window but no view, and there were no outlets by the bed.

The staff were warm and friendly, and the accommodation itself was pretty nice, with coffee and filtered water included. We stopped here overnight on the way to the Golden Triangle. Tour groups also stay here, so the rooms can be louder than you might expect, though the sound insulation wasn't bad. The main thing I'd change is the water pump. When someone showers, it sounds like something major is going on.
