J Room Bangsaen

The owner is kind and the staff are lovely, and I’d stay again. I understand that noisy guests are sometimes beyond anyone’s control. The room was good value for a first stay, with a 5-foot bed, fridge, drinking water, and cool air conditioning. Parking was 100 meters away, paid for by the owner. But a large family with children seemed to be staying there, and from midnight until 3:30 AM the kids called for their mothers and knocked on doors. The little ones cried loudly, which I understand, but the older children were inconsiderate and made so much noise all night and into the late morning. I was going crazy and couldn’t sleep, though I managed about a 40 minute nap. It felt like they were saying, “This is mine!” I’d suggest the owner put up signs about noise disturbance. Also, something should be done about the electrical outlets, since I accidentally got an electric shock. 😊

The owner was nice, and for the price it was worth it, but the place felt strange to me. I’ve stayed in many places and never had to remove my shoes before entering the room, like going to a temple. There’s no parking lot, though you can use a nearby valet parking area and walk a short distance. The bed was comfortable but a bit small. The room was small, and the air conditioning wasn’t cooling properly even after adjustment, so my partner complained all night. There was a dog or cat urine smell, and the bathroom smelled too. The room wasn’t soundproof, so we heard other rooms and cars all night.

The room was tidy and a good price, with very cold air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and had a water heater, and the TV’s YouTube worked well. There was also an air conditioned seating area where you could enjoy a meal. The female staff member was friendly and provided good service. I’d definitely return if I get the chance.

I got room 2, and the bathroom was incredibly dirty. The doorknob was broken, so I couldn’t shut the door and had to leave it open. Then I saw a huge cockroach disappear into a drainpipe. I don’t know why, and I’m still confused. Who could sleep there after that? 😅
