The price was high, and the room had almost no furniture, just a bed and a small table.

Dirty, overpriced, and seedy.

The bed was comfy and the room was clean and inexpensive. The AC cooled well. The water wasn't very warm, but everything else was good.

The windows wouldn't lock, and the bathroom door knob didn't lock either, even with the door shut. The room itself felt old and run-down.

The AC worked well, which I liked, but the strong laundry detergent or softener smell gave me a headache. The room seemed old, probably because the building is old, I think. The shower pressure was so strong that water splashed around the bathroom, so I had to hold the showerhead while washing. The water heater was awkward too, with two taps and no labels to show which was hot or cold. The blanket felt too thin for two heavier people.
