We had such a wonderful time in koh Lanta, and can’t thank the owners enough. They took us in without hesitation after our original hotel had overbooked us, and were so kind and accommodating. The room was spacious, with a gorgeous balcony looking out over palm trees and nature. It was peaceful, and just a five-minute walk to the beach. The hotel is in the heart of the Khlong dao area, close to lots of restaurants and things to do. Thank you for making our stay so amazing :)

Pam, the Thai owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. She replied quickly to all my messages and offered useful suggestions. The apartments are spotlessly clean, with high-quality furniture and fittings, and the pretty garden has room to relax. There are only six apartments in the block, so it’s a small place. The location is ideal for a short or long holiday, five minutes from Klong Dao beach on the beach side of the main road. Nights were so quiet that we slept well without disturbance. The price was very reasonable and included a weekly clean and linen change. I have no hesitation recommending Baan Chailay Apartments.

Watch out if booking through Airbnb, there seems to be some kind of scam going on. Luckily Airbnb was very helpful with my cancellation and finding somewhere else to stay.
