The downstairs coffee was good, and brunch, lunch, and dinner were great. The rooms didn’t quite match what I expected from the lobby, but they were functional for a short festival stay. The hot water and water pressure were both good. The bed is firm but still comfortable to sleep on. If you have upper or lower back pain, it might be the best bed for the price, and the pillows are good too.

The room was standard, and I liked the cute cafe and rooftop restaurant. I was there for my birthday, but getting the room key deposit sorted was frustrating. Staff wouldn't accept a card or scan payment and asked to keep my passport, so we eventually used my Thai partner’s ID card. I’d lost my debit card and couldn’t get cash. The room also had no usable WiFi: the network disappeared as soon as I connected. I could only get online in the cafe downstairs or restaurant upstairs. When I told the front desk, they blamed heavy use and made no effort to fix it.

The rooftop pool was nice, but there were only six sunbeds and the rest were beanbags. The rooftop bar felt like a five-star place attached to a two-star hotel, and the food and drinks were too expensive. Our room was ready when we arrived an hour early, yet they wanted an extra 100 bt for early check-in. The bed was too hard, there weren't enough clothes hangers, no dryer, and no table or chair outside. It wasn't a good stay for me, and I wouldn't come back.

We booked a room with our dog, but on our morning walk we were told we had to carry the dog inside the hotel. That rule hadn't been mentioned on Booking or anywhere in the reservation process. If the place is pet-friendly, why are we expected to carry our dog around?

The comfortable room and good dining facilities made for a pleasant weekend stay in Jomtien Soi 11. I especially appreciated Can, the night receptionist, who helped me when I got back late one evening. The rooftop pool was nice too.
