The location is fantastic: Lotus market is right across the road, and the nearest 7/11 is less than a two-minute walk away. For 750 bht ($22 usd), it was inexpensive and extremely clean. The staff were remarkable for both their kindness and how clean they kept things. There’s also a restaurant in the same parking lot, an American Western-style steakhouse. Its steak is cheaper than anywhere I’ve been, with amazing quality, service, and taste. Staying at the Major Grand Hotel has been one of my most pleasurable experiences.

It’s a great, quiet spot, with shops and restaurants a short walk away. The pool area and gym are awesome. Staff and the manager are super friendly and easy to approach if you need anything. I’ve booked to stay again next month while the hotel is being updated, and can’t wait to see how it looks when they’re done. I’d highly recommend a short or long stay.

I only stayed two nights, but found it a first-class hotel. Ian at reception was welcoming and very friendly, and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were large and very clean, with a lovely hot shower. There’s a very large swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

I spent three days at this wonderful hotel, and it’s hard to find anything bad to say. Everything works as it should. A few more sockets in the rooms would be useful, but the service is top-notch and the food is okay. A special thank you to Ian, who was a great help thanks to his good English.

The pool area is really nice, and there’s a full gym available. The room was very nice too, with soft beds and cool AC.
