We had a really good long stay at Retro. The rooms were cleaned neatly every day, and the staff were wonderful, helpful, and nice. Breakfast was fresh and generous, and the pool was cleaned often while we were there. Staying in old shipping containers was interesting, and they were furnished very cleverly. When it rained, the pattering sounds made everything feel cozy. We also got to try the manager's homemade banana sweets. So yummy!

The friendly staff always greeted us with a smile, and we had a very good stay. The room was small as expected, but thoughtfully laid out, with everything we needed in the larger-than-expected, very clean bathroom. The pool was bigger than we expected as well. Breakfast was a nice surprise for the price: ham, sausages, eggs, toast, watermelon, and banana. Coffee was free any time of day, and there was a chocolate drink plus two choices of 3 in 1 coffee. Highly recommended.

The location is right by the main street, with street food about 500m away. For a container-style place, it’s really nice. The room is compact, but the bathroom is spacious, and little things like hangers have been taken care of. The ID lives up to its name, very RETRO !! The furniture in the shared areas looks like it was made from recycled materials.

There’s a 711 next door and plenty of food along the street late at night. The shared outdoor area is extensive, which makes up for the small rooms. The pool and location are great, and the staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

The rooms are tidy and nice, and the pool is good. It’s nice value for money. The owner is quiet, ideally not silent, but is on site most of the time, even at night.
