Getting locked out for about 10 minutes was the one snag, though the staff responded quickly and got us into our room. We were given fresh fruit when we checked out, too. The resort is lovely and right beside the White Temple, with a very reasonable price. It’s a bit outside the center, but still an easy taxi ride. I’d recommend staying here.

The rooms were small for what I paid, the towels smelled moldy, and the water had a strong drain odor. At night there was so little lighting that coming back felt like walking into a graveyard, and the whole place left me uneasy. There were only two or three staff members, who kept staring, which added to the unsettling atmosphere. The grounds were maintained, but the basic hotel sits beside a paddy field and a drain. The narrow road in was an early warning, and the place didn’t look like the idyllic pictures online. I was relieved to leave. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for comfort and peace of mind.

The staff, especially joy, made sure I felt welcome and looked after what I needed. I’d planned to ride from chiang mai to the white temple in one day, but realized I needed a break. I spotted this beautiful place from the main road, and it felt like a little slice of heaven on the journey. I’ll come back next time I’m here.

For 800b, we got a spacious room, a very comfortable bed, all the amenities, and breakfast for two. I only stayed one night, but could easily have stayed longer. A lovely place to stop over, highly recommended ❤️
