Collection O VResotel

The WiFi is patchy and weak, so I had to use mobile data. I also don’t understand why there’s no kettle in the room. People may want to make coffee in the morning.

The room was okay, and the air conditioning worked. The internet was the big problem. It kept failing, and even after telling them, it was still the same. If you stay here, be prepared to pay for your own internet because the connection here doesn’t work.

The walls are very thin, the A/C is weak, and the bed is really hard. I also found the long-term Indian renters noisy. But the thing that really bothered me was being charged $1.55 (50 baht) for room cleaning at Vresotel. I’ve traveled to more than 20 countries and stayed in over 1000 hotels, and this was the first time I’d encountered that. It feels ridiculous and makes no sense. If you book through Agoda, there’s a tiny note somewhere below saying the hotel will charge another 50 baht for cleaning. That fee is hidden.

The biggest drawback for me was the WiFi. It didn’t always work properly. Otherwise, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is top-tier. Staff cleaned daily and brought water and toiletries when needed. The fridge was handy, and the hot water worked well. Capital O VResotel is a bit far from Bangkok’s main attractions, but I think the reasonable price makes up for that.
