It’s an older hotel, but the rooms are big and it’s good value for basic lodging. The train station is less than a 10 minute walk away. There’s a shopping mall nearby, plus a road with street food vendors at night. They also have free coffee in the morning.

For 320THB, this has a really cool atmosphere and feels like a must for real travelers. The hotel is half abandoned place, half jailhouse, and looks like somewhere you’d expect to find in the Soviet Union rather than Thailand. Find me on IG: thecollectors2.2kg

The spacious room was a plus, but it’s cheap because the setup is old and management feels old-school. The toilet smelled a bit, probably because of the sewerage system.

Just a few minutes from the train station, we arrived at 11 pm without a booking and got a very clean, large double room with A/C for 400 Bhats. The bedsheets were very clean and the toilet had good hot water. The mattress was the problem, it was awful, and I could feel the springs almost coming out.

The location is good, near the market street, and there’s parking. The room itself was okay, but the mattresses were worn out. The bathroom was a mess, with mold everywhere. When you’re the only guest, maybe they could at least be nice?
