The service was kind and low-key. They’d leave fresh amenities at the door, and didn’t hurry us along when we were late checking out. I also tried the pool once, though the disinfectant smell was pretty strong and I’m not sure how often it’s cleaned. The room itself is roomy, all wood, with nice light and sunshine coming in during the day. Sound carries, though. Over our three nights I could hear people chatting outside the next room, someone snoring on one side, and a phone conversation on the other. It’s a bit hard to judge the location since the area feels quiet and almost deserted, but there’s a lot to see at the Ganesha himal museum just a short walk away. There’s also a little restaurant that shuts early and a daytime market along the same street. Most of the deli food is meat. 😅
