The place was clean, quiet, and well organized, with air conditioning, friendly owners, and some snacks and coffee. It worked as a simple bed for a night before the ferry, since there isn't much to do in town and little room to hang out. There are two bathrooms and two showers, but neither had hot water. I also found the beds on the firm side, though manageable. The mosquitoes made the night rough. They kept biting me, so I eventually got up and put on bug spray. I realized the back room opens to the outside, letting them in whenever someone opens the bathroom door. I’d hoped to get a good night's sleep, and the bugs were the main reason the stay wasn't great. The staff were very nice, and since I was only there one night I didn't want to complain.

A clean, comfortable hostel and one of the cheapest choices around Donsak. The couple running it were lovely, and there were lots of complimentary snacks and drinks, though almost none were vegan. Their 5 a.m. shuttle to the ferry was reliable and on time, at 100 baht per person. Just right for catching the first boat. Thanks!

The hosts were really kind, and the hostel was clean. They offer laundry help, free snacks, and a ride to the ferry, so it's a handy place to stay nearby. I'd recommend it, though there was only one restroom and adding more would help.

There’s a big market nearby with pretty much anything you might need. I found a phone adapter there, and the minibus from Sunat Thani to Donsak dropped me just a 40-metre walk from the place. They also have a list of wholesome things to do around Donsak and can drop you at the ferry pier for 100 baht. The family who run it live upstairs and have a restaurant next door. They were so friendly, and the rooms felt clean and safe. Cheap, tasty street food stalls are right outside, with kids of all ages playing basketball nearby. It had a welcoming, family-oriented feel.

A small, tidy hostel with very welcoming hosts. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the thick curtains gave good privacy. It's really close to the port, which is handy if you're taking a ferry. I'd definitely recommend it.
