The gym was good, and the pillow was firm. The kickboxing ring is gone, though there were plenty of outsiders around. I paid extra to stay in deluxe room 501 for two nights, but after using the gym and swimming, I found there was no hot water in the shower. It came out cold. There was no hair dryer in the room either; I had to request one at the lobby and leave a deposit. I got sick the next day. Breakfast was pretty basic, and the pregnant receptionist was kind of rude.

For the price, it was worth it. The room was fairly clean, and the breakfast buffet was okay, with rice, toast, and salad. I didn't have time to try the other facilities.

Getting around was inconvenient since the hotel is far from Hatyai town, so we needed a tuk-tuk or Grab. The staff were the biggest letdown, unfriendly and sometimes rude. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with decent facilities, but the towels were old and stained. Breakfast choices were limited, and extra food cost more.

The pool and gym were nice, and the service was excellent. We had trouble with the toilet seat being loose and the hot water in our first room, so the receptionist let us switch rooms the next day. Just be careful in the bathroom: the marble floor gets very slippery when wet, and the tub's slope made it hard to get in and out. My husband fell and ended up bruised, though thankfully it wasn't serious.
