They’re doing repairs right now and never told us. Drilling and hammering went on all day, so I wouldn’t come here at the moment.

The location is handy, close to Kim Yong market and Lee Garden. I booked a room with a queen bed, but found only three power outlets, one of them taken by the fridge. Also, I got itchy while sleeping on the extra bed. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but the toilet in mine would flush by itself and splash water around. That could happen while you were using it, which felt unhygienic.

The location is the one good thing: 7-Eleven is right next door, and Lee Garden Plaza is only about 50 metres away, an easy landmark for Grab drivers. But we had several problems. The website listed room type C as two king beds and one single bed, with space for seven, and nowhere during booking did it say there'd be a separate charge from the sixth guest onward. We were charged an extra 400 baht for two nights for the sixth guest. Staff also knocked rudely and opened our door while we were inside without asking, so after that we kept it locked because we felt paranoid. At checkout they flatly refused to return our 200 baht deposit without the paper receipt, even though we had a photo of it.

I might have to keep this place to myself or it’ll be hard to get a room. It's a basic but clean room, with clean sheets, a powerful air conditioner, fridge, TV, large mirror, wardrobe with removable hangers, table with a power socket and two chairs. There's a hot shower and sit-down toilet, though the Wi-Fi was unreliable. You can get a 49 baht SIM with 10GB of data at the nearby 7-Eleven. The location is hard to beat: Lee garden night market is a few steps away, Kim Yong market is a 10-minute walk, the train station and Robinson shopping center are 500m away, and odean shopping center is 150m away. Massage shops are all around, there's a pub nearby and plenty of tuktuk. Lee garden has an ATM, McDonald's, Starbucks and other shops, and there are halal restaurants everywhere. They even have cheap cold beer in the lobby fridge. Reception staff speak English and Mandarin. I’d stay again.
