The location and service are good, but the rooms aren't soundproof. You can hear people talking, using the toilet, and closing doors in their rooms. If you're a light sleeper, you'll probably have a hard time getting much sleep at night.

I had a great stay at U Hatyai Hotel. It's a compact hotel, but the staff made the visit enjoyable. Mr Wat, Miss Natasha, and miss Mata were especially friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend staying here when visiting Hatyai.

I booked the hotel through Agoda for 28 Nov. The Thai government declared Hatyai to be in an emergency because of severe flooding. I cancelled my fully paid booking, but only half was refunded as Agoda credit.

It's a three-star hotel that feels like five stars. It doesn't have luxury, but the hospitality is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel isn't right in the city centre, though the nice restaurants, bars, and massage places are still within walking distance. Absolutely recommended!
