What stood out to me was the care for the environment and local community. Phuanne Ecohouse uses refillable glass water bottles, keeps its carbon footprint low, and makes a real effort to avoid plastic. Sustainability feels like part of everyday life here, along with meaningful support for the local community. It was a restorative stay that felt gentle on the planet too. The rooms are minimal but thoughtfully put together, very clean and comfortable. The bedding was excellent, from the mattresses and fine linen to the choice of pillows. Hospitality was genuine and quiet. Surrounded by nature, it’s a peaceful sanctuary where you can slow down, breathe and unwind.

The view across a small lake to the mountains is lovely, and there’s a terrace large enough to enjoy with friends. The room is spacious and nice, if simple. For the price, it’s amazing!

I like the Northern Thai breakfasts here. It’s a quiet place to relax, with views of the pond and mountains. A lovely spot to sit with coffee and a book, or spend the whole day.

A peaceful place to relax, with a good environment and a cheap price. It’s a perfect resort, without being too exclusive. They can provide a local breakfast if you prefer. I love this place. You can also see local water buffalo lazily showing their rice farming skills, and there’s a traditional local barge for boating.
