The shared spaces and facilities felt just right for me, especially the quiet library and nice pool. There’s also a 'Tao-Bin' vending coffee machine and a 7-eleven. I checked out a studio on the very top floor, the 23rd, and the view was sooooo superb! 🥰🤣 I’m still unsure about renting because I don’t know how fast the Wi-Fi is, and there was some noise from a couple upstairs when I visited. The pillows and sofa in that room weren’t very nice either. That was just the particular room the agent showed me yesterday, though. Overall, the location, facilities, and security seem right.

Rents start at 12k baht a month 375 USD, which seems decent. The common areas are clean, and there’s a medium sized pool and a good aerobic room, though it’s not really a gym, just one bench and dumbbells. There are 7-11s within 300 meters. The main part of town is about 1 km away, around a quick 5 minute motorbike ride. My only complaint is the elevators sit 1 foot higher than the main floor level. So strange.

There are good cheap eats around the corner, and the view is great. I think you’ll need some kind of transport to live here, a bike, car, or scooter. The reception staff are rude as! Every other employee is nice and happy to chat, though. I understand they have a lot of people to deal with. It’s a great place otherwise.

23/513 23/513 23/513 23/513 23/513 WARNING AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THE OWNER OF THIS UNIT My lease ended on January 4th, when the 20k baht deposit was supposed to be returned. The owner didn’t come to inspect the room and said he couldn’t return the money until he checked it “some time after January 15th”. He wouldn’t give me an exact date, even though I’d given him 10 days’ notice that I was leaving 2 days early to give him time. I offered to have his agent take a video of the unit so he could send the deposit, but he said he didn’t trust her 100%. At the same time, he expected me to trust him to wire the money whenever he got around to inspecting the room. I’ve given only a half month deposit in the past, and that’s what I’d recommend to anyone else renting long term abroad.
