Fah Sai Riverview Accommodation

The river and the location are beautiful, and the hotel itself is okay, with some water sports and leisure activities. But we spent two nights there and barely slept. For some reason, it seems to have become a getaway for Thai groups who don’t feel they need to behave normally. Different groups of drunk people screamed, shouted, and played very loud music throughout our stay. It continued past midnight, until no one was standing anymore and most were vomiting around beneath our floor. If you’re looking for somewhere relaxing, avoid this area at all costs.

The pool is splendid, and the place has lovely river frontage and very nice rooms. When I visited in July 22, it was still very quiet after covid. There was no bar or service after 7 p.m., and the staff didn’t speak English. All the signs and notes were in Thai.

I was in Bann 6. The toilet smelled really bad, and the air conditioning wasn’t working, so the room was noisy and not cool at night. It all seemed to be falling apart.

The mattress in our room was very thin and uncomfortable. Other than that, it’s an excellent place to stay.
